WHAT IS CRANK AND HOW IS IT USED

WHAT IS CRANK AND HOW IS IT USED
By Dr.Fourkan Ali
There is no doubt at this point that drug and alcohol addiction is a truly serious and gruesome crisis for all who are involved in it. Substance abuse is an ongoing issue and problem, one of which needs to be addressed promptly and efficiently. Drug and alcohol addiction is without a doubt now the single biggest problem that is faced in this country, one of which needs to be worked on and worked against so as to create a resolution and some sort of way for handling the issue on a nationwide scale.
The problem is, as rapidly as we seem to be able to address drug and alcohol addiction and actually do something about it, it just as quickly gets worse and worse and other problems seem to come up and make big issues of their own. This is the sad truth of the matter, and it would seem that big issues and problems with drug and alcohol addiction are always just right around the corner.
For example, a drug that has come on the stage now is that of Crank. What is crank? The crank drug is essentially a poor man’s crystal methamphetamine. It is a watered down meth essentially, sliced with other substances and other chemicals to make it less potent, and cheaper too. However, just because it is less potent does not mean that it is any less dangerous or damaging to the human body. The additives that are put into the drug can be anything from battery acid to laundry detergent and high-chemical cleaner compounds. These are very toxic for humans to have in their bodies according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Crank Drug
Crank is a stimulant drug and takes hold within minutes of taking it; the potency of the drug can last for as long as eight hours or more. Here are some signs of crank use:
A severe lack of hygiene.
An unhealthy appearance on the skin, hair, and nails.
Loss of income.
Sores appearing all over the body.
The person no longer cares about his or her future, family, friends, or even their own health.
Withdrawal from social circles.
Rotting teeth, sores and tears on the lips, tongue, and inside of the mouth.
Rapid mood changes and generally unpredictable.
How is Crank used? Crank, as it is the powdered form of crystal meth, can be snorted, smoked, or injected. The drug does damage in any of these ways though, entering the bloodstream, creating a rush of euphoria and delivering a surge of manic energy. After that, a crash occurs and the person essentially becomes comatose. Crank, like all other forms of meth, has a very negative and dangerous effect on the person’s body. It effectively poisons them and hurts all major areas and functions of the human body.
BEATING AN ADDICTION TO CRANK
How does one kick a habit like a crank habit? Crank is a very powerful and potent drug, one of which creates an addiction that is very, very hard to get rid of. Because of that, people struggle with kicking the habit on their own. In fact, it is next to impossible to stop using crank without professional help. Due to this, people who are hooked on this drug will need to go to an inpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center.
An inpatient center has the tools and the recovery methods for helping people to beat an addiction struggle. An inpatient program is able to help people find their path and their passion for beating addiction once and for all and for good.
